Was in Bathurst just for one night and wanted some dinner, was recommended to try the B Town BBQ at the Oxford and am very glad I did. The hotel itself is lovely and really nicely modernised. The B Town BBQ was warm and inviting with a cosy fireplace and great American ranch decor. Service was excellent and the Thursday special - ribs and wings - were great. The wings were so big, I had to ask if they were emu! Would definitely go back if I'm in town again.
5 out of 5! I didn't eat here, but the atmosphere and the service was fantastic. There was a variety of clientele when I visited from the tradies having a Friday drink to families having an early dinner and everyone got along well. The bar is well stocked and the barman that served me was very knowledgeable. I look forward to my next visit!
Great place for drinks and dinner! The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The food was delicious, the drinks were well priced, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Really good value for money. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Had a meal and drinks here oon a recent trip to Phillip Island for the motogp. Food was served very quickly and was quite nice. Good atmosphere out in the beer garden. Our pommy mate, who seemed obsessed with pubs loved the place.
The Oxford a premier venue located in the heart of Bathurst! Offering a open mordern style atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a short but delicious menu of freshly prepared mediterranean foods, pizzas and bistro classics Cocktails are well presented and put together. Large TAB and keno facilities along with large gaming room, Super clean modern amenities. Huge outdoor playground for the kids. Friendly staff . On street parking . Would definitely recommend it if you’re in Bathurst ! Well done Oxford team!
I had a great start to the night with a bright welcome from the waiter at the front today, to be specific at around 7pm on the 21/3/2026. She led us to our table and made sure it was up to our preferred area and standards, left us with the table and a comfortable vibe. Shortly after she rounded back to us to make sure we were okay and either ready to order or have ordered.
Brock’s, the restaurant inside The Oxford Bathurst, was a huge surprise. The $15 pasta weekly special (vodka sauce) was incredible. As was the chocolate mousse. I then find out why. Stefano Burlando is the head chef at Brock's Bathurst, a restaurant that has won a 2025 Australian Hotels Association (AHA) NSW Award for Updated 11th November. Superb lobster special gbocchi, barramundi and Italian sausage pasta. Manager Tom even shouted us dessert, thank you! Tiramisu and sticky date pudding were sensational. We will be back again soon. Excellence. He was named the Regional Chef of the Year at the same event, which recognized The Oxford Hotel (where Brock's is located) for multiple awards. Burlando has also been featured in promotional materials for upcoming events, such as a long lunch with chef Manu Feildel. We will be back very soon.
The place has a great vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating, plus big screens to watch all kinds of sports. I was honestly surprised to find such a cool spot in a small town. The food was way better than I expected, and they offer a wide selection of drinks and alcohol that anyone can enjoy. Definitely a spot I want to visit more often!
The Oxford Bathurst Town BBQ Texas BBQ & Southern Dining was outstanding. We ordered the Butcher’s Block and it was fantastic. Every cut was tender, smoky, and full of flavour. The brisket melted in your mouth. The ribs were perfectly seasoned. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere felt warm and authentic, like a true Southern BBQ spot. Great value for the quality and portions. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves real barbecue done right.
Cool pub with fun activities, a great beer selection, and a lively atmosphere. The food was good overall, but my steak was cooked almost well done instead of medium-rare as ordered. Still a nice spot, just some room for improvement on the cooking accuracy.
